Our second meetup will be held at the wonderful Foto Kotti. Analogue photographers and artists come together and present their projects to the audience. Whether as prints on the table, fanzine, photobook or projected on the wall, everyone gets 20 minutes. After which there is room for discussion, feedback and get-together. What is the “Analoger Foto-Stammtisch”?
“Analoger Foto-Stammtisch” is a meet-up for analogue photographers and interested people. Are you fascinated by analogue photography, do you want to learn more about it and would like to connect with other analogue photography lovers? – “Analoger Foto-Stammtisch” makes it possible!
With changing topics and activities such as show&tells, photo walks, workshops, visits to photography exhibitions, lectures and presentation, “Analoger Fotostammtisch” is dedicated to everything on analogue photography.
Organized by analogueNOW! – the festival of analogue photography in Berlin – a new space of exchange for analogue photography enthusiasts in Berlin will be created, where they can meet like-minded people, exchange ideas and thereby build a network of analogue photography lovers, photographers and other sympathizers.

In cooperation with Safelight Berlin we are happy to invite you to our next Fotostammtisch: Safelight will have all of their stock of second hand cameras, accessories, and expired film with them. On top of that, you can leaf through limited (photo)zines, books and prints.
Safelight Berlin is an online shop specialised in analogue cameras, lenses, expired films and darkroom supplies and accessories. Based in Berlin, Safelight was founded by two friends with a common passion: photography and everything that revolves around it.
Come by and have a drink with us, there will be Kombucha, beer and music!

Für unseren Januar-Stammtisch besuchen wir die Fotogalerie Friedrichshain. Wir treffen uns ausnahmsweise am Donnerstag statt Mittwoch, um beim Künstlergespräch der Ausstellung ‘Glaubenswelten‘ dabei sein zu können.
Im Rahmen der Ausstellung ‘Glaubenswelten / A World of Faith’ werden Arbeiten von Ana Bathe, Serge J-F. Levy, Carla Pohl und Jana Ritchie gezeigt.
Serge J-F. Levy wird extra für den Artist Talk aus den USA einfliegen! Außerdem präsentiert Fotograf Dirk-Martin Heinzelmann am 01.02. seine Multimedia-Collage “Reise nach Jerusalem”, die Einblicke in die Glaubenswelten der religiösen Geburtsstadt gewährt. Anschließend findet ein Artist Talk mit den Fotograf*innen der Gruppenausstellung statt.

Der Fotostammtisch #10 findet im Rahmen der aktuellen Ausstellung [BLICKFELD] statt.
Das Thema: Fotografie im Dialog
Die Geschichte der Fotografie als Inspirationsquelle analoger, zeitgenössischer Fotokunst: Gespräch und Ausstellungsführung mit den Fotograf*innen Manuela Höfer, Thomas Nitz und Daniel Samanns.
Die Ausstellung [BLICKFELD] zeigt noch bis 31. Dezember Arbeiten von Daniel Sammans und georgia Krawiec (die bereits beim ersten bzw. zweiten analogueNOW! Festival 2015 und 2016 ausgestellt haben), von Manuela Höfer (die ihre Arbeiten beim Show&Tell des analogueNOW! Photo Weekend 2017 präsentiert hat), sowie von Stefanie Schneider, Thomas Nitz, Michael Ackermann und Olle Fischer.

Was ist der Arktis Photo Report?
Im August 2016 hatte unser Analogue Now-Teammitglied Jan Kraus (Künstlerische Vermittlung) die einmalige Gelegenheit, eine traditionelle Inuit Waljagd fotografisch zu dokumentieren. Sechs Wochen lang verbrachte er in einem kleinen Ort namens Iglulik im arktischen Norden Kanadas. Zurück kehrte Jan mit beeindruckenden Aufnahmen und wissenswerten Einblicken über diese traditionsreiche Gemeinschaft, die sich gleichermaßen gegenüber den unwirtlichen Lebensbedingungen wie auch den Folgen der industrialisierten Welt behaupten muss. Seine Arbeiten (digital und analog) hat Jan Kraus u.a. in der NEUE GALERIE BERLIN ausgestellt und einen Artikel in der FAZ verfasst.
Neben seinen Fotografien stellt Jan auch sein Fotostudio LUX&ASA vor, das im März 2016 eröffnete. Sofern es das Wetter zulässt, laden wir zu kühlen Getränken und warmen Snacks am Lagerfeuer auf dem Hof. Wer auf unserem ersten Festival 2015 im Karibuni gewesen ist, kennt den Weg! 🙂
